Eric Omondi Shares Encouraging Update on Georgina Njenga After Visiting Her in Rehabilitation

Kenyan comedian and activist Eric Omondi has shared an encouraging update on social media influencer Georgina Njenga after visiting her at Chiromo Hospital Group in Nairobi, where she is undergoing a planned 90-day treatment and rehabilitation programme.

The latest update, shared on October 29, 2026, marked the 30th day of Georgina’s recovery journey. It featured a Halloween-themed photoshoot in which the content creator participated, giving her followers a glimpse of how she has been spending part of her time at the facility.

In the video shared by Eric, the two appeared relaxed and cheerful as they exchanged greetings and jokes. When Eric told Georgina that she was glowing, she smiled and thanked him.

Eric later shared a message celebrating the milestone, writing: “Day 30. We took Georgina for a photo shoot. Our Sister is doing so well. MUNGU MBELE.”

The update attracted attention from Kenyans who have been following Georgina’s situation since concerns about her wellbeing emerged several weeks ago.

Georgina Marks 30 Days in Her Recovery Journey

The latest photoshoot represents another milestone in the planned three-month programme, which began on October 2, 2026.

Georgina was admitted to Chiromo Hospital Group after a series of social media posts and incidents in public raised concerns among her family, friends and followers.

Her situation attracted widespread attention, prompting Eric Omondi to appeal to Kenyans to help him locate her so that she could receive professional assistance.

After finding her, Eric worked alongside her mother, Alice Waruiru, to facilitate her admission to the Nairobi-based facility.

The comedian subsequently began sharing occasional updates, describing the process as a 90-day journey and encouraging Kenyans to offer prayers and support.

The 30-day milestone is particularly significant because it follows earlier updates in which Eric showed Georgina participating in activities outside her room as part of her time at the facility.

However, the latest footage should be understood as a glimpse into her recovery journey rather than a medical assessment of her condition.

 From Concern to Encouraging Updates

Georgina’s situation first attracted widespread public attention towards the end of September after she shared worrying messages on Instagram that prompted concern among her followers.

Some of her posts referenced death and personal struggles, leading social media users to question whether she was safe and receiving the support she needed.

The concern grew after footage circulated showing her appearing distressed in public in Nairobi.

Eric Omondi later publicly announced that he was trying to reach her, explaining that he wanted to ensure she received appropriate assistance.

On October 2, he shared footage of his visit to Chiromo Hospital Group, describing it as the first day of a planned 90-day treatment programme.

At the time, he appealed to Kenyans of goodwill to support Georgina and her family, stressing that the early stages of the journey could be challenging.

The intervention attracted considerable attention, with many Kenyans praising the comedian for stepping in during a difficult period.

Eric Previously Shared Her Day 15 Activities

The latest update follows another milestone shared on October 16, when Georgina reached the 15th day of her programme.

In that update, Eric posted footage showing the two participating in recreational activities, including tennis and bowling.

He described the outing as Georgina’s first opportunity to step outside for fresh air since beginning the programme.

The activities offered followers a different perspective of her experience, showing that her time at the facility involved more than simply remaining indoors.

The Halloween-themed photoshoot on Day 30 has now provided another glimpse into those activities.

The creative session featured Georgina in a green outfit made from artificial leaves, with a matching leaf crown. The concept was inspired by the biblical Garden of Eden, with Georgina taking on the role of Eve.

Eric and Georgina appeared to enjoy the session, joking with each other as they discussed the creative idea.

The footage has attracted attention partly because it shows a more relaxed interaction compared with the earlier updates that followed her admission.

Chiromo Hospital Group Reportedly Waived Her Treatment Costs

Another important development during Georgina’s recovery journey concerned the financial arrangements for her treatment.

When Eric first announced her admission, he appealed to well-wishers to help meet the cost of her care.

However, reports published by K24 Digital indicated that the leadership of Chiromo Hospital Group, including its chief executive and Professor Frank Njenga, intervened and waived the treatment and rehabilitation expenses.

The reported arrangement reduced the need for continued public fundraising to support her stay.

The development was welcomed by people who had expressed concern about how the cost of an extended treatment programme would be met.

 Kenyans Welcome the Latest Update

The latest footage has provided some reassurance to followers who have been concerned about Georgina’s wellbeing.

Her appearance during the photoshoot, together with the relaxed interaction with Eric, has attracted positive reactions from social media users.

Many have welcomed the opportunity to see her participating in an activity and interacting with people supporting her.

At the same time, her situation has renewed conversations about mental health awareness, the importance of professional support and the role friends and family can play when someone is experiencing difficulties.

It has also highlighted the need to balance public interest with personal privacy. While social media updates can reassure concerned followers, recovery is a personal process and should not become a source of pressure for someone receiving treatment.

Georgina’s journey is still ongoing, and the 30-day update does not mean that her treatment is complete.

With another 60 days remaining in the originally announced programme, many Kenyans will be hoping that she continues receiving the support she needs.

For now, Eric’s latest message has offered a hopeful update to those who have followed her story, with the comedian continuing to encourage the public to support her journey.
